We have 2 types of log splitters available. The electric log splitters are 240v machines with a 14 second cycle speed for dealing with large quantities quickly. They have an adjustable wedge for different log sizes and a 2 speed cylinder for increased rate depending on the type of wood you want to split. The petrol log splitters can cut wood of up to 450mm high, and they can accommodate logs of any width. Both machines use a powerful hydraulic cylinder to split wood effectively.

Dry would is generally easier to split than wet. Dry wood contains less moisture, so there is less resistance when splitting
